Calgary Transit has just finished receiving delivery of 42 more New Flyer D40LF coaches numbered 7921-7962 of which the last 12 or so arrived in the last few days just before the end of December. I had the pleasure of driving #7939 on Christmas Day for 8 hours on the route 57 which was operating with only the one bus between the Calgary International Airport and the Whitehorn CTrain Station once an hour. I had a bunch of extra time each trip, so I took the bus over to an empty area of the Whitehorn Station lot and posed it for these two photos on December 25, 2005. |
