#4900 is the first ever Articulated Bus to be purchased for service by Edmonton Transit. These buses have the Detroit Diesel Series 50 engines with Allison World B500R transmissions. They seem to do fairly well in Edmonton since there are not many hills, but other cities have had trouble with Series 50 powered D60LF's being very under powered. |
